I hope that you are all having a nice day. It’s a gloomy one in LA, but even the rain brings with it great things.
This week, I bring you a poem that was published in Maudlin House a few days ago, titled “19 at 12:49 p.m.” Please swing by and take a look at it.
I hope you all have a nice weekend and week ahead. Stay informed on what’s going in the world, but also remember to stay grounded, stay positive and enjoy the simpler things in life: a nice walk, a good cup of coffee, a conversation with a friend or relative. Even when society goes back to “normal,” it’ll be good to take the lessons we’re learning during these times to make the rest of our lives better. Life, as we can plainly see, is not a guarantee and the fact that we are lucky enough to have it is a pretty darn good reason to take a second or two and simply smile.
