Please join me in thanking The Bangalore Review for publishing my poem titled “In the City of Panorama.”
Imagine a place that no longer exists as it once did, but one whose presence lives on in your memory.
Please leave a comment to let me know what you think.
Thank you for your readership and have a wonderful weekend.
Decaying trees, decaying relationships—fertile mulch for messages of hope and renewal today. Nice job, Jose.
This poem is more of a “press” than a “punch”. It gains weight slowly, getting heavier as we read our way down the page.

Love this summary. I’m glad you found that ray of hope under the heavy shade of all of those trees. Thank you for your constant support and analytical reading of my work 🙂

Honestly, that was such a strong poem. I loved the full-circle you wrote, as the narrator of the poem finally figured out the gender of the trees. It was heartbreakingly beautiful.
