Well done, Ze. There’s nothing quite like a psychedelic bus ride to start off the morning in an alternative universe.

Thank you, Allan. Bus rides do tend to have an exhilarating unpredictability that makes them dreadful and entertaining all at once.

Was it Hunter S. Thompson who said, “You buy your ticket and take the ride”?

That’s a good quote. Yeah, that was him.

Good poems are not easy to write; overlapping nuances atop each other lending to different layered interpretations. Faded is a panoramic tapestry for those familiar with bus or train rides. In parts, it’s crystal clear and as a whole, it makes the reader a holographic passenger. As you have consistently done, details are beautifully written, Ze! What’s makes it even better is the profound spiritual message of the Golden Rule: treat others as you would like others to treat you. Congratulations!

Vida, thanks again for your great insight, and for sharing it with me. Public transit, in many ways, reflects our most human qualities; which may or may not be our best. Cities in general are vibrant places where people from all walks of life coexist. This mix of diversity can sometimes be an amazing opportunity for cultural exchange, and it can also be volatile. Thanks, Mr. Lustre.

Thanks, Ze for the insightful reply! The “Hanged Man” graphic is really good too.
